Made a broth this afternoon. From a veal's shank this time. Oh, and from herbs and vegetables of course too. Going to make a proper French onion soup of half of the 2½/3 litres of it.. and, I think now, a cauliflower soup with the other half. Haven't made both before.

Well, it keeps me going throughout Winte.. um, Summer, I mean.

Took the cat in for her rabies shot.
Took the PR to the Diner to celebrate her 23rd birthday.
Took the PR to Walmart so she could spend her birthday $.  She bought a Disney Princess Aries First Doll.
Bought pizza and am baking it, will have it with a salad and a beer.

In exactly 1 minute the PR will be 23.

Yesterday I picked up my Beretta 92FS. I cleaned it, lubed it and went to Beretta USA website to research the serial number and it is a 1996 US made pistol that appears to have only had the 400 rounds claimed by the original owner shot through it making it near new mechanically speaking.  :thumbup: $475 was a good price on this gun.  :viking: I have 250 rounds of UMC 115 grain FMJs and 50 rounds of Winchester RA9BA 124 grain Ranger Bonded +P ammo to put through this between tomorrow and Saturday.



Here it is with my Walther P5. Both use variation of the same type locking block.



And here it is with my other 3 full size 9mms. HK USP9, Beretta 92FS, CZ85 and Glock 17. Now I have 14 9mms again.  :thumbup:

As for the gun....that would buy you pretty much most handguns round here, with only a few rounds fired. Need a new barrel and firing pin though. Unless its a smoothbore or gauss weapon. Although there aren't many of the first for sale short of shotguns, in which case it just needs a firing pin, and there are clip fed or belt fed models to be had, and of course, not that many of the latter on this entire island:P
