Worked, made lots of phonecalls after getting home.

Best one resulted in getting an organisation on my side, to get my girl safely  in a school that is good for her, next year. There are no guarantees. But, they do have power, and a legal department.

I have not done much except listen to wind chimes and eat breakfast.

I have always wanted a hammock and got one for free. It arrived yesterday and I put it together. First test run says it's absolutely fabulous and both kids gave it  :2thumbsup:

Temporary crown came off this morning while I was brushing and flossing my teeth, so I went to a 24 hour Walgreens and got some temporary crown cement to put it back on.  The permanent crown won't be ready for two weeks and my dentist's office will be closed until Tuesday.

Travelled across the country for a one-hour meeting where nothing of any real consequence was said.

Here's what the meeting must have looked like.  :zoinks:

Picked up another check
Looked at an addition to work on
Went to the bank

Assembled a cross trainer in the spare bedroom.

Is it cross because it's in the spare bedroom?  Maybe it would like the guest bedroom instead.

Technically I haven't done much today. It's a quarter past midnight.

(Re-)built the bed. Located bedsheets (easier said than done). Did laundry. Cleaned floors. Built shelves.

I have searched everywhere for the charger for the urchin's JCB digger ride on toy.

My house looks like it has been ransacked.  In fact, if burglars came tonight they would probably just shrug and think someone had beaten them too it. >:(

I have also searched the internet...ebay, argos, maplin etc and i cant even find one to buy  :'(

It is cracking me up,  everyday for the last week or so the urchin trundles upto it and tries to start it.  He never gives up.   Today he tried tying some kite string to it and the petrol lawn mower - hoping to tow it..ahhh bless!
