Got up early, went to uni.
Attended a lecture and then a tutorial.
Ate my lunch.
Am still at uni now sitting around until it is time for the next lecture.

Went to dinner at mum's because my brother, future SIL and niecy were visiting. Looked at all our old school photos and tried to remember people's names. Was fun

Worked. Went to a meeting to discuss an ice skating training camp my daughter will be attending in the summer.

I'm going to a square meter of garden out of wood tomorrow (or if it rains.. soon) and I gathered the proper wood for it this afternoon. Made the (tech.) drawing for it.

It's going to be a low box of wood with a floor in it filled with soil.. and I'm going to grow fresh herbs in it. This on my balcony.. away from wind and rain, if needed, and surely away from them fucking SNAILS.

Tried to get rid of the moss on the tile terrace too but ¾ failed. Tough stuff.

Made some food, ran some errands.. um, and other daily things to do too.

Went to work, built a fence around the newly renovated switchyard and finished up my work in the control room. Went to lunch with the project manager on site and senior supervisory tech, which the company paid for, and then got my layoff  went to the hall to sign the out of work books and got travel letters. Overall a very good day.

Made airplane parts. Out of metal. With my hands.

Put some beer out for them in a shallow pan (sink to ground level if possible), snails love beer. They get drunk, fall in, and never climb out.

Not sure they enjoy the buzz, but it does work. Little buggers are really attracted to it and end up drowning in it.

I know, my garden got swamped with snails, when I placed beer traps. They came from all my neighbours, and, the shallow pans were not deep enough. There were that many snails that the ones on top got out, leaving a wobbly trail. And, my garden had more snails than before.
