I cleaned out my dresser junk drawers.

My dresser has two sort of hidden drawers which look like they're part of the trimwork, and open up into two large drawers which are about 3 inches deep. One is used for miscellaneous things and the other is used for my paper hoard. There's certain bills, statements, and receipts I feel I need to keep short term, so I toss them in there and then clean it out once per year keeping only the most recent things. now I have a whole shopping bag of crap to burn tomorrow because I don't want to risk breaking the shredder by doing too much at one time.
I also washed the curtain over the kitchen sink. It's white lace so I have to handwash it, for fear of ruining it in the washing machine. It's the only curtain in the house and it's not even really a curtain, but more like a valance which covers about half of the window. I don't like that curtain and I've suggested a few times over the years, replacing it with something more sleek and streamlined to better match the aesthetic of the rest of the house. It's been there forever so I don't think about it often because it's been a constant part of the scenery for so long, however I do profoundly notice it when I see it in photos and that's when I bring it up. Sugarbutt loves that gawd awful frilly grandma curtain, so it always stays.
