I finished a birthday gift project I've been working on. :hadron: I cleaned the vacuum filters, and I also bought some new air filters and swiffers because I'm deep dusting the house this weekend.  :orly:

Got another blood draw to check my B12 and Folate levels.
I'm suppose to take B12 supplements :(
Then you should take them. I take Caltrate because the contraception I'm on takes calcium from my bones. I was never told to by doctors, I figured it out from some reading I did about it. I take it every morning with the rest of my medication.

The hematologist wanted me to take B12... just so we're making sure the blood draw from before was just a "hiccup"

I did my Saturday chores. :hadron: I also worked on some of the deep dusting so I don't have so much to do tomorrow. I'm polishing the wood furniture as I go along as well. I usually do that as a separate task, but we're expecting visitors at the end of the month. I'd like to have all my spring cleaning tasks completed by then, so that puts me on a bit of a time crunch.  :dunno:

I take them too, but I don't like it. I've never taken stuff like that before because supplements aren't FDA regulated so there's no guarantee I'm getting what I'm buying. The B12 I buy actually does makes a difference, but when I was first told I need to take a vitamin D supplement they didn't do anything and my levels got even worse. I was able to get a prescription for the vitamin D, but that experience made me distrust over the counter stuff even more than before.   :dunno:

I finished deep dusting the house. :hadron: I even cleaned the appliances. I usually do appliances when I polish the furniture, but I'm doing both jobs this week. I didn't clean inside the oven, because I'm out of oven cleaner and I won't shop again until Friday, so that will have to wait. I'm glad I got so much done yesterday, and now have the rest of the day to relax. I was also planning on going around the house with a magic eraser and some white paint, searching for smudges and specks, but it got all dark and thundery outside and now the house seems sort of dark. I'm taking a break right now and thinking about it, so I might decide to take a shower and call it a day.  :dunno:

I cleaned a few cabinets and drawers. :hadron: I figure if I work on cabinets and drawers a little bit every night this week, then I'll have that job done and I can clean the grout this weekend instead.

Went to the dentist for a checkup (need two fillings) and then I went to see my old supervisor (Teresa) at another Salvos store. Her store is about half the size of the one I volunteer at. But it's a very nice store, very boutique-like. I sat down with Teresa and had lunch with her. I'm glad I did because I've missed her.

Shaved, took a shower, helped mom with a small task, had lunch, taking an appointment with my shrink, and then going to group.

Took a long walk, reading a biography of Spencer Tracy.

Stopping at the Mexican grocery, I found sesame brittle!!!!

We all know how to brittle sugar, right?
I have made many batches of pecan brittle and peanut brittle, but never had enough toasted sesame seeds to do this.

Sesame brittle is very special!  Pecan brittle is fucking awesome, but around here, common. Sesame rocks!!

Of course many other items from the grocery that I never can find in any other Indiana store, so, great morning shopping trip.
They also have a butcher in the back, so obviously I bought some fresh beef and pork.

Yes I eat meat. Lots of meat!
Fuck the entire fuck all the way off, vegans!

Worked - well, participated in meetings. Mindlessly boring. Made dinner for the family.
