While weeding and tending the landscaping this morning, I uncovered a ground squirrel nest. These parents are late to the game it seems with the cold coming soon.

Baby ground squirrels look like pink prunes, but wiggly. Eight of them and I want them all to thrive! I covered it back up and left it as it is for now. That part of the landscaping can sit over winter as it is.

I hate that I disturbed them!

I am going to throw some grass clippings over and nearby which will create heat as it decomposes.

I used to have my bench attached to the wall of my old garage to make it more sturdy. We moved it to the new home and I have never attached it to anything. It is free standing and honestly this beast I can barely even shove if I want. It does not need to be attached to anything.

I never removed the vise but the grinder and buffing station were removed. I set the grinder on the "came with the house" wall attached bench but the buffing station I have just mounted in fear.
I expected lots of vibration. NOPE, not on this bench. The small buffer can rock out just on a sitting bench, if the bench is like mine, way over built.

My main buffing machine I have not even gotten set up yet. It's a big boy and will need some doing to get it going.
I bought a converter when I set it up in my old house. It is a three phase design, but I bought an adapter to convert it to use two phase wiring so I could use it in a home environment.

I just need to go into my electric box and bring out some 220v to the shop. No big deal, but to do it right according to Code, I have to have an electrician do this. I'm an electrician, but unlicensed, so I really can't do this (even though I can) without concerns with the insurance companies.
I plan to do the work and have a licensed electrician inspect and sign off. I will build my circuit to exceed Codes!

Dropped Carla off at the bus terminal for her trip to Logan airport and eventually to KY to see her family.  Got my flu shot and made the appointment to have some major body work done to my car.  Later this month.   8)

I painted the wall behind the fridge. :hadron: I once asked Sugarbutt why there's no paint back there. He said he wasn't sure if it was just overlooked or if he ran out of paint.  :lol1:

What are you going to do with the room?  :orly: When the girl moved out, within a week we had repainted and moved the boy into her room because it was bigger. She said, way to move on. I told it's not like she isn't welcome to come back.  :zoinks:

She loves her cats. :kitten:

Went to the gym and could feel that I hadn't been there in two weeks. Went to City Farmers and got cat treats, went to another store and bought Kayleigh another stick mixer.
Came home and did the dishes, cleaned the cat tray of poop and also changed their water fountain filter. Had my phone appointment with the respiratory specialist. My CT scan basically showed that I have asthma. Well I knew that! I'm to keep taking the new medication and follow up with my GP.

Need to do some sweeping, take meds and go to work.

Guest room mostly for the grand kids when they sleep over and for when I have trouble sleeping

Got my car inspected and spent MY day getting stuff done and chilling out.  Enjoyed some wine watched distant lightning.

All I've done is taken meds, thrown a bunch of household rubbish out and had a coffee for breakfast (run out of cereal).

We had a spot like that in our new home. Not sure why. It was not visible under the bathroom sinks, but it became an irritation once we found it.

They did not run out of paint, since they left us almost a full gallon of the same color.
