Went to work, got home... noticed on my schedule app that my last day is the 28th

Spent all afternoon at the Humaine Society complex.

Grueling time, but we came home with a Chiweenie. That's a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix. Small little fellow, nine pounds and all boy, except for having been nuetered, of course.
I have never had a nine pound dog before, but he is really spunky and very cool, not even to mention CUTE!!

New boyfriend for Jumper!

My aunt and her life partner adopted a Chiweenie.... still to this day, my aunt still has the chiweenie, and her life partner died back in 2009.

We're already in love with the little guy and he seems to be identifying closely with my daughter.

I knew it was time for a replacement pet for her when I saw her "cuddling" with her aloe vera cactus plant. Something had to give.
Our little girl doggie only seems to be interested in hanging with me, so my daughter's efforts to snuggle with the other dog, Jumper, has not gone well.
Jumper is a terrier mixed mutt and really loving, but only to me it seems, although she tolerates my wife quite well.

So far our Chiweenie has followed my daughter's every step, right there with her. He is exactly what she needed!

Oh, he has a heart on his forehead and his name is Cupid. He also wears a bandit mask of black four point stars over his eyes.
So cute!

Did my job, dealt with the incompetence of upper mgmt.  stupid demanding customers (with a few exceptions), dealt with some moronic co-workers........in short.....just another ho hum day in the temple of the walton KLAN!   ::)

Blew insulation into an attic  it was over 90F(32.2C) outside and over 120F(48.9C) in the attic. It was a twenty minutes in then forty minutes break in the shade till it was done

Went into work not expecting much of anything... and realized that this week is my last week of working in Walmart... Because in a way, I am nervous and excited... and it was the first time I did a two weeks notice for a job to begin with.

In a way, I am happy about it.

I will. We've already taken a few pics of him. He's a little bitty fellow. After three nights, he's already relaxing into his new home, hanging with the girls, checking on all members of his new pack before bed, etc. He feels at home.
He's going to do great and he makes me smile a lot.
