Usual Saturday stuff. Cleaned the bathrooms, dusted, washed towels. Also did a vinegar treatment on the bottoms of the drinking glasses. They have a slight indent on the bottom, so a bit of water is left there after the dishwasher is done. After so many years, they had developed a white haze from water deposits. They look brand new now.

Not a lot, yet. Had coffee and read the news.

Husband said the glasses are too clean. A long running inside joke; his way of saying they look nice. The joke started with the hall bathroom. Always give the hall bathroom a quick wipe down when visitors are expected. One day was doing that, although it happened to be only the next day after doing the regular weekly cleaning. He walked by and said, what are you doing; there's absolutely nothing wrong with this bathroom. Told him, the bathroom is too clean, said no person ever.

You know that thing where you take 128gb sd card full of a decades worth of holiday snaps out of one device with the intent of putting it into another device, but then you get sidetracked and end up hoovering the room and when you've finished you discover that the sd card is now missing, and you remember hearing a tiny rattling noise going up the pipe while you were hoovering?

Well it's happened again.
Ever got that feeling that you're trying to teach a dog a card trick?

Yeah....or when you eject the damn thing out of the camera to pop in a new one while standing on the porch and it springs out of the slot like a rocket and slips through your fingers into the flower bed.

A full year and a half of weeding and I still haven't found that little SOB.

I've lost so many micro sd cards with that camera it's crazy...it's like my fridge that shoots ice across the floor.

Spent half of the day in pointless meetings and the other half trying to catch up with everything.

Took Kayleigh to physiotherapy and signed up for it myself. I need to gain some flexibility and general fitness.

Pruned the rose bush in the front garden.

Did washing, hung it out and promptly brought it in again. Fiddled around getting the washing hung on the clothes airer so it'll dry.

Had a bit of a laugh at the posts above, thanks you two.  :lol1:

Had my psychologist appointment this morning, then went to Spotlight (a craft and housewares shop) to buy my mum a voucher for mother's day. Also bought a sheet set for myself that was only $20. I then went to Aldi and bought burgers for tonight.

I should've bought petrol while I was out, but I'll do that after work.

Prepped a demo happening tonight, then spent 30 mins in a meeting seemingly decided to have everyone top themselves.

Brought Carla's bicycle to the shop for a tune up.
