^ Your post reminds me of today at the Salvos we put signs on the donation bins saying we weren't accepting donations due to safety reasons (heaps of stuff out the back (processing area) we were going to start tripping over because there was nowhere to put it).

Of course some people put their donations in the bins anyway, probably because they were too lazy to go anywhere else.

Well I haven't donated anything yet and I'm not even sure if places are accepting donations atm. I can put it all in storage till they do.
Most of the stuff in the bags is summer clothes that I don't fit into anymore. I culled the ordinary shit like jeans because I reckon the shops already have too many.

Traveled hither thither and yon, searching for the stuff on my to do list.  Bought a new toaster oven and assorted groceries that Carla needs.

Moved a dead opossum to a place where the scavengers will find it. Circle of life.

That's the best thing.  When I find a dead animal in the road, I try to get it off and into the woods.  Circle of life as you say.

One of the local turkey vultures likes to bring his snacks to my yard for a picnic. I hope he doesn't think I'm turning this into a bed and breakfast

We had a turkey vulture land near our condo.  Never saw one that close.  Must have seen something appetizing nearby.  It may be following the fox young'un as it establishes its territory.

Went for a long walk with Emma and took her out for lunch. We proceeded to chill in the nearby park and laugh at some random teen get hit by a frisbee.

Cut the carpet away from the skirtings in my bedroom, about a 5 inch perimeter (the carpet is getting replaced anyway so it's no big deal if I destroy it)
Sugar soaped the walls.
Masked off my sliding screen door.
Tomorrow I shall undercoat.

Busy day, went shopping, brought Carla a coffee at work, did more shopping, bought some fresh picked corn on the cob, books from a fairly new book independent book dealer in Dover NH, a new mask from the same place with a little poem on the side, "We wear the mask that grins and lies.  It hides our cheeks & shades our eyes."  by Paul Laurence Dunbar, and the other side has a bird in a cage flying away.  Finally took my bicycle out for a ride, after it was recently serviced at the bicycle shop.  Now I'm sitting at the pooter, sipping some wine to celebrate the anniversary of the day I beat Ambers "genius" ex-boyfriend in court.

A good day.

Picked up my produce box, cleaned the bathroom and cleaned out the fridge. Finished folding the laundry and put it away. It was a productive day overall. Currently have a chicken and veggies roasting in the oven for dinner.
