I am up.

Got my hair cut and coloured today and feel loads better. I stopped highlighting my hair 5+ years ago because I loved my grey. But my hair was getting too thin so the colouring makes it look thicker.

I loved your grey too.

I don't have hardly any or I'd be letting it grow out, just a few scattered strands, still coloring it because it's always been darker than I liked.

My mom was 65 still barely had any grey when she passed away.
Now it's a reddish blonde and I'm surprised at how much I love it.

Do you know what's causing your hair to thin out? My hair did that when I took sodium valproate. Handfuls would come out in the shower. Alarmed me.

My hair has gotten a lot darker in recent years. But I still have an interesting red bit under the fall of my hair on the right side. My hairdresser loves it.

My hair now has a bit of red to it as well and I love it.

For me, the thinning is from stress. I have PTSD so if that's not well managed, my hair gets really thin.

A full-day meeting. Ugh.

Bought Carla her xmas gift.  She wanted a nice rosary and while I prefer to actually look and feel the product before buying.  It's a bit of a trip and complex navigation to go to a store that sells them in this area.  I think I did a good purchase.  It is not a cheap plastic one and it has a nice color to it.

^Certainly a good thing.

Spent the day planning the next quarter. Agile is actually just as rubbish as any of the methodologies they claim to fix.

An unexpected day off. Didn't have to leave the house. Greatly needed.

Had a shower, went back to bed for the day and wrote and read and listened to music.

Had a shower, went to the op shop for 8 hours. It was almost intolerable - they have evaporative air conditioning which means it was really humid. Sweat was even dripping down my back. I even had to wipe my face with paper towel several times.

Now I'm home, I'm finding it really hard to cope with the heat. I'm on my bed dripping sweat even after another shower and the fan on. Kayleigh and I are both grumpy. I can't blame us. No air conditioning sucks.
