We have a fire going.

Tonight is stick grilled foods - we have a selection of things to kabob all cut up and prepared, ready for the fire.

It is usually too hot in the summer to enjoy this new fire pit, but this time of year it is awesome.
It is still sweat your ass off most of the day time temperatures here, but once the sun is down it is sweatshirt and hoodie weather overnight. Temperatures drop rapidly after sundown!

Perfect for a fire outside.

Painted the ceiling in my spare room. This painting project sure is dragging out. It's taken me a week just to get this far with one room :P

I like marketplace, I've been listing things on there lately instead of Craigslist...figured I'd try it out..the experience has been a positive one so far.

My nephew buys stuff there all the time and likes it, he sent me the link to what I bought.  It seems pretty good my only issue is that I loath facebook

...I loath facebook

:lol1: Yep. I've never been a big fan...I tend to keep a low profile on there. I've never been one to share much of my personal life.

I first joined to see how a couple old friends I had in school where doing...that was a dumb idea.  :zombiefuck:

Went out a little earlier with a buddy for his Neighborhood Watch walk. Seems like a quiet night.

Heading out soon for a shift change. Probably going to leave my shotgun behind tonight and just carry my Colt.45 and scary BIG flashlight.

ate breakfast; watched the news; started reading 'The Woman in the Window', Finn; Had a sleep; read some more; watched an episode of Disenchantment's second season on Netflix; read some more; and started drinking; put the Kindle on the charger; got on the computer to check emails, reply to one; and logged in here

Not a lot but I did manage to finally get the dishes done this morning. That was due for.. a couple of days.

Oh, and I finished a letter that needed to be written. Again finally.. Going to post it this afternoon.

Nothing, really. Worked from home, but back and left eye have been awful lately and I had to work completely lying down horizontal and struggled to see anything on the computer.

I guess that's just the way it seems
