I'm so Australian my indoor plants have kookaburras living in them.

Got a puncture driving over some dirt in the road. The pressure lasted exactly long enough for me to get to the local garage before it finally gave out completely.

That's a small miracle that worked on your behalf. Although it would have been far better to not have to deal with the puncture at all, at least if it's going to happen, making it to the garage is a bonus.

Worked in the office, again. Had a beer with my team leader.

Went to a free introduction to small business course in the city. There are another 6 or 7 subjects within the course that cost $50 each. I would like to do them, I just need the $. If I do one per fortnight, I should be able to manage it.

I also bought a book called Writing Wrongs - Common Errors in English. I only paid $6 for it as I had a voucher that covered the rest of its cost.

Not courses specific to West Australians, I've had a look. Our circumstances don't differ a lot to those over east but in registering a business and sorting stuff like tax out, there are subtle differences.

The PR bowled 12 spares and 2 strikes today.  Not as satisfying as her turkey on Friday.  More importantly she did a good job of handling her frustrations when other bowlers bowled well.  Little steps.

Spares are harder to bowl imo. She did well to get 12. :)

I picked Kayleigh up from the train station. When we got home I did the dishes and did some other cleaning in the kitchen. Some guy from the housing department is coming to fix the igniter on our oven after lunch.

Spent today and yesterday in meetings, apart from a social occasion in the evening.

Spent the morning at the laundromat to wash Kayleigh's quilt because one of the cats peed in her bed.

Washed the rest of the linen and hung it out.

Went to the job agency only to find they had nothing for me. I asked if they would fund my small business course and they said they might. It will be brought up in one of their meetings.

Took Kayleigh to the medical centre to get her finger redressed. Then went to the car mechanics to get an idea of how much it will be to get the brakes done. $395 for either the front or back!

Been somewhat productive after I slept in.

Washed and hung out two loads of washing. It should all be dry in a couple of hours, given the wind and sunlight.

Also had lunch - pasta salad.

Woke up at the alarm set time of 7 a.m.  Said, "I can do this.  I don't feel tired. That's enough for the first day."

Shuffled snow. Walked the dog. Finished a whitepaper. Fed the family.
