Hit the Dollar Store.  I had a 10% off coupon (about our sales tax).  Nice haul.

Finished evaporating off the last whiffs of solvents from the batch of DPM. Then adjusted PH to as close to neutral as can be done atm, without a sensitive electronic PH meter (I accidentally ruined my last one, after trying to test something that ate through the glass of the electrode; Styxbegotten blightscrotum of a twunting thing was totally trashed and now I need to buy another, plus a spare in case of breakdown and to assist in calibratiom of the thing)

But done and dusted all the same.

Poured  some out int a spoon and added some water plus an (unused, obviously) rollup filter, heated spot, drew up through that, 5ml water, let cool and IV.

Quite different to morphine, main differences being that the former tends to give first alerts a little slower but with a rapid first phase comprising significant histamine release, feels like the hands, feet, fingers and face, especially the cheeks are really stinging, like being hit with a bunch of nettles, along with sensation of heat. dipropionylmorphine is different, rush is kinda..smoother, and its a lot more sedating. That shot I did before sent me into a really heavy, heavy nod, dreaming like crazy. A lot less histamine release, just smoothly slides into perception. And a lot more euphoric than morphine. The rush of the latter takes some getting used to, its nice, definitely but the prickling could put people off at fiirst.

Couldn't stay awake within a couple of minutes after that, hits you by surprise this stuff, morphine makes itself obvious right away with the histamine release, but DPM, I almost could say to myself 'hey this isn't working', but then it sneaks up and grabs one by surprise. Very warm, relaxed, still got a big grin on my face:)

Did a bit of photography in the hope of getting help to ID a mystery bit of lab glass.

Made some prope dope (3,6-dipropionylmorphine, heroin''s longer-lasting (all day nearly), much more potent (about 3-4x H which itself is about 3.75x morphine potency wise) and generally pleasanter, in that its a lot faster in onset and provides a MUCH greater and longer rush on IV than H, but less histamine release than morphine.  Almost ready, just evaporating the last few drops of acetone/iPA then good to go:)

Took Kayleigh and her rats to the vet (one of them had a tumour removed and it's like she has a new lease on life), weeded a bit of the garden, did some homework and did the dishes. Quite a pile of dishes too, happens when there is guests.

Rewrote some spaghetti code I have. Much better after some refactoring.

It was berber, no mold...just old...berber seems to suck in cat hair like a magnet. It gets caught in the loops and even the best vacuum won't suck it all out. I've been wearing a respirator pulling it out, it's awful.  :zombiefuck:

Went with vinyl plank that looks like wood, but is supposed to hold up to spills and stains better than laminate or wood.

So far the two bedrooms are done, next will be the kitchen and living room. Will probably go with a couple of easy to clean area rugs. Hopefully it will help with my allergies/asthma.

We replaced the linoleum squares (grey pebble pattern) with 15 inch muted grey tile.  If we have a flood, they won't have to replace the tile, just the grout.  And it is so much cooler than carpet (which PA wanted) and so much easier to clean.  For the winter we have some smallish carpet squares we put in front of the chairs when we're watching TV to keep our tootsies warm.
