And catered cats.
And made a start on treating a chewed up thumb.

(Got a kid biting nails, starting at the base of the nails rather than at the top of the nails.)

Yikes! *cringing over here*

I know, I've done a lot of cringing, because of this little one.

A week before she was two years old, she was snug sitting in a corner, enjoying herself. After a while she came up to me, with a big smile on her face. Saying: "Look, red."
She had bitten off all her twenty tiny nails, completely. Took a few weeks of soaking in biotex water and lots of bandaids. Part of the extremities did inflame, of course.

Somehow, she has not gotten rid of that nasty habit yet. But, she does not do all 20 in one sitting any more. And, back then, it was not stress, just something she did. Now it is often a combination of stress and boredom. Though she also does it in her sleep now and then. No way to stop her there.

AAAAARRRRRCCCCHHHH. Kids.  :GA: :GA: :GA:

What did I do today?

Dropped stronghold between the shoulder-blades of the two felines. They were not pleased, but both had the beginnings of an ear-mite infestation, and the mites seemed to have gone to Luna's lower back again too. She was biting herself too hard, and there were no fleas. Mites make her do that too.

Also went for a biking trip with youngest. We went looking for chestnuts. The early trees had dropped most of their fruit, the late trees had dropped none. OK harvest. The fruits are tiny this year. Also found a pair of over the counter readingglasses under a chestnut tree. My strength. No idea what to do with them. The place we went is in between four main places.
On the way back we had to stop, so kid could cuddle up to some Ryeland rams. Don't know who was more adorable, the kid or the rams, in seeing them together.

We had a lazy meal of bread and cheese from the oven.

Trigger point massaged myself, with the help of two small rubber bouncing balls and a smooth door. Placed balls between door and my back (avoiding spine, of course), and moved my upper body in ways to have the balls run over worst muscles. At really painful places, I pushed myself as hard as I could against the door.
With my weight on top of the pushing, that meant quite some pressure at the muscle knots.
I caused professional pain and more. Did help a bit. Not enough.
Was funny how the sounds of the massaged muscles were enhanced by the space behind the door. Not often my daughter can hear how tense my muscles are. Especially one muscle was really LOUD.

Catered kids and cats.
Oldest got a more extended breakfast than the youngest, because she was giving me way more time.
Now I am the third in the row having breakfast. It's about time, I've been up for nearly three hours. Did have lots of tea already though.

Bid work on  the house next to the one I recently bought a bunch of movies and a projector from several weeks ago.  I had bought the movies off of Craigslist and the neighbors got my name from a contractor I work for, so there was no connection between the two kinda weird

Eye exams for PA and me.  Good outcome.

Nothing much for me, since I had to work over nine hours today - that time of year has arrived.

... but I got a really good look at one of these 2016 Jaguars.

We have MANY District and Territory level bosses who visit our little store regularly, because we are an anomaly. Our little store has consistently earned monthly bonuses for all its employees for eight months running, now. So our little (really small for one of these types of stores) store in the middle of bumfuck, redneck nowhere being in the top ten nationwide is an anomaly, to say the least.

Anyway we get a lot of corporate visits to learn how to "play our game on down the line" and improve everyone's working experience.    :blah:

Usually these guys show up in a fairly tame rental car or if they are reasonably local, then some kind of "modest"  sedan or mini-van of some sort, even though they make twice as much as our GM does. They generally have a "sort" of compassion for the average worker and do not flaunt their (undeserved?) wealth.

But there is this one guy, who, while everyone else at his level was driving conservative automobiles, maybe even the random SUV, THIS guy drove a fucking full sized Hummer. Fine.

Today he shows up in his brand spanking new Jaguar (Odeon, possibly you should put in for an update   ). I got the tour as did many of us.
Here's a similar pic from the web:

OK, now I have done something good today.

I came home from work after my wife had already left for work. SHIT!

She spent time to make an awesome beef and vegetable soup for us to enjoy.

I made cornbread.

YUM!!

No, I'm sorta retired from that.  Just doing a seasonal job at a warehouse.

Brought coffee to my brother and nephew who were duck hunting nearby
Cleaned up and got more stuff ready in the house and the yard for winter
Worked on restoring some giant calipers I picked up at an estate sale
