The painkiller *is* the breakfast. :M
:indeed:

But maybe I should have taken a bigger breakfast. Paracetamol was too light for me.

I'd offer you my NSAIDs if I could.

I am pondering on plundering my small diclofenac stash.

I have a stash of those, too, but they don't do much for me.

So far diclofenac is the only NSAID that does something for me. The others don't do a thing. Paracetamol and codeine combination is great, but the side-effects make that I will not take that again.

I've tried a fair few but most don't work particularly well for me. There is something called Orudis that is halfway decent but gives me an allergic reaction, and the one that I take now, called Alganex, sort of works, sometimes.

Went to a castle with the girls. The castle garden, filled with statues, is awesome.

Should have posted here yesterday but was too bloody tired, so here goes. Just imagine this was written yesterday.

I landed in Baltimore after what felt like an eternity. Spent another eternity waiting in line for entering the US. The officer asked me for a favour--he handed me a complaint form and asked me to write my thoughts about the waiting times to the powers that be. They are seriously understaffed.

Took a taxi to the hotel.

Today:

Spent all day at the conference.

Had a painful one breast follow up mammogram.  Eight compressions of a DD breast.  Hurt like the dickens.

Nothing serious, just a follow-up to confirm that it is normal dense tissue.

^I totally dread that when it comes to my time to have mammograms. My poor mum has a rough time of it too. Hoping your results are normal, QV.
