I'd give you a supportive hug but that's probably about the last thing you want right now.

Not much I did today but I've made pizza dough 15 minutes ago. It's now resting and growing in a bowl under a moist kitchen towel. Nice and cosy. Made tomato sauce too.

Mustn't forget to bring some mozzarella when I go for my groceries later this afternoon. Maybe some other topping as well..

Did some errands
Worked on an old lawn mower from the 1970s with no success
Currently I'm on a break from working on a power washer

Took the PR to buy some party stuff for an early birthday celebration at bowling on Tuesday, a new charger and cord for her tablet, shoes.  Rummaged through some garage sale leftovers near me and found some decent stuff.  Started cleaning the computer room since the computer isn't working and it's a good opportunity to clean.

Posted from my ouija board at my g'friend's house.

Finished painting a sturdy but fugly little chest of drawers I curbed a few years ago that was in my son's room.

Primed and painted it with 4 coats of semi gloss black and changed the handles. It turned out really nice, hard to believe it's the same piece, I was ready to haul it back out to the curb a few months ago, but the kid wanted it. Should have taken before and after pictures.

I really don't like to paint, but this actually turned into a relaxing diversion this week. Thinking about painting his other chest to match now.

Couldn't sleep at all last night, so lazed around in bed, puffing away on my E-cig, and listening to sugar coma, enter shikari, fields (just 'fields', not fields of the nephilim, which are also a top notch band), and got on the computer. Waited for the docs surgery to open up, then went to score some scripts and cash them in.

Shot there, shot back home ASAP, then shot UP :D, some oxy and morphine, necked some tranqs, had a fag, felt absolutely lovely (and still do), had a drink of orange squash and ate a packet of jammy dodger cookies, as well as half a tub hextuple-chocolate ice cream.

Woke up, picked my meds up, and spent the day lazing around posting on forums and reading some article from Journal of Applied Toxicology, centered on identifying the binding site for the nootropic drug huperzine-A, an anticholinesterase derived from a chinese clubmoss, Huperzia serrata (and others of the genus), it does strongly inhibit acetylcholinesterase, but also acts as an NMDA antagonist, although one would be poisoned nerve agent fashion before ever getting dissociative effects.

I thought it bound the glycine or perhaps the polyamine regulatory site, but oddly it turns out to be an  ion channel pore blocker, binding to the PCP site. Still trying to have people hunt down the full text of the article for me though.

I think I'm going to make another bottle of orange juice up in case I get thirsty at night, have a smoke before shooting up the morphine/oxycodone mixture I didn't finish and is still laying in my mortar and pestle ready for banging up and curling up in bed with my book on biochemistry I got out of the library for just this sort of lighthearted bedtime reading:); so far, I've been learning a fair bit, and finding it a really interesting book, the title is 'Harper's illustrated biochemistry, 3rd edition'
