Did you find any treasures on your walk?

Not this time, mostly nails and screws in the road, which I pick up to spare some poor driver from getting a flat tire.  What I pick up goes in the scrap metal bucket for the eventual trip to the scrap metal yard!
Your walking is almost like another physical form of yoga when it comes to the level of awareness of being in the moment. To notice all the things that you do.

I do sort of get into a zen mode when I walk.  And I am an expert ground scanner, I also find a lot of loose change and other stuff, like pocket knives, car emblems, even a silver cuff link.   8)
I've always thought that is incredibly cool. And now I'm proud owner of some of your finds!  :2thumbsup:

I made a fridge magnet out of SAAB emblem and another out of Dodge RAM emblem.  My goal is to find a Subaru emblem someday.........the quest continues!   :mischief:

I'm the same way and find all sorts of things.  My daughter has gotten mad  more than once when I picked up money she had just walked by :2thumbsup:

Important meeting today that went very well. Feeling very relieved that it is over and done with and went the way I had expected it would.

Went for a walk for an hour, came home and napped until Kayleigh woke me up. Went food shopping. Came home, put it all away and then went out again to look for a double bed. Took me about 10 minutes. Put the bed on layby. Came home again and then went out to the gym. Walked home in the dark.

Got rid of a lot of domestic backlog. And went to the gym. May have outdone it there a bit, but it felt so good to have some energy back. I can tell you that I used a lot of muscles.

Oh, also tried to guide my mother through an online form, via the phone.
We got far enough to get her registered. But then she apparently had no permissions to do what she got registered for. Hope it is just the system being slow. We'll try again later.

Reminded the "Fruit of the Womb" not to leave her expensive, newly bought digital camera in the car, in plain sight and on days that could still get the interior of the car very hot.  Car break ins to steal items are common in certain areas, a smash and grab and buh-bye camera, which she professes to love.   ::)  Not sure if my reasoning registered with her or that there will be an "I told you so" moment in the future!   <sigh>
