Gary, I'd prefer a lightweight vacuum as well but since Kayleigh does the vacuuming, she gets to choose. I sweep the house, then mop it but Kayleigh prefers to vacuum. Plus we have a huge rug in the loungeroom (the only carpet) and that needs vacuuming frequently. It's looking pretty ordinary right now.
I'm using a Kmart vacuum cleaner. Because I'd rather a $50 vacuum die on me than a $600 one.

I swear the makers [of all vacuum brands I've used] employ some proprietary tactic that stops you from returning the heads back to functioning order after you dismantle them for cleaning.
The obvious solution is for makers to sell replacement heads, but no, there's more money to be had in making people buy a whole new machine.
