Not really having issues, but new ones keep presenting.

Such as, (dealing with the insurance nightmare of securing our mortgage loan) SORRY TOO MANY LOGIN ATTEMPTS. THIS SITE HAS RESTRICTED YOUR ACCESS.

Apparently, last time I reset my ancient computer, I had a third party popup blocker, still working. So, as I began to dicover what the problem ammounted to, I ran out of "login attempts"  and so now I am held hostage, trying to be modern and just sign things the new way using esign software. I have already set up accounts with two of them, BTW, but this United Omaha uses a different brand of software.

So, basically I'm at  :hair:  and there is not one damn thing I can do about it until time passes.

I really wanted this final detail over and done with today!! See the bank has offered a long mortgage to a sixty six year old guy with no income, so they wanted me to pay for insurance in case of my death (which is damn good bet, incidentally). My computer was blocking my acxcess to the site I HAVE to use. Once I found the damnable, THRICE DAMNED thingy, I had used up my three chances to access the site.

Now, after over an hour on the fucking phone with these people, I have to call back and explain that I can not do what I said I could do, meaning esigning and emailing back all the shit they need to help me get straight with the fucking bank.

Turning into a longer day than I had planned to get this crap done!

One of the bosses/partners who likes to work in the other office on Thursdays took that afternoon and friday off with sick leave because he claimed he had acute respiratory issues due to all the mould in various parts of the other office (due to a leaking roof).
I mean, if his claims aren't BS, that makes it official now, the place is physically unsafe to work in. There was no doubt he was sick according to witnesses, yet it could be covid for all we know.

He says he's not going over there anymore for his own health and safety.
That didn't stop them from telling me to go over there an extra day this week though! Nice....
I guess their health and safety is important, but the health and safety of the plebs like me working beneath them isn't.

None of the bosses even told me that he went home sick and why. I didn't find out until close to lunchtime today from crush boi, while working in the affected office (and while sitting at a desk in the most affected room for that matter).

Another nail in the coffin of my working relationship with these people.

My car would start after I finished at the laundromat. One $300 NRMA battery and two hours later I'm back on the road and finally home.
After the battery change my centre console buttons started working again. I let out an audible gasp when I saw those button backlights fire up again for the first time in ages :laugh:

^Same sort of thing happened to me after the first lockdown we had. Had to call the RAC for a new battery. Once changed, my dash clock started working again.
