Instead of seeing dead people, I see dumb people.  :autism:

That is a very funny meme, using "stupid people"  instead, but I can not seem to find it right now.

"I see stupid people."

... makes a very entertaining post when it is warranted.

Learning how a poor family can eat nutritiously without much work.  This should be interesting.

Your bodies adjust....

Just concentrate on three things:
-protein
-carbohydrates
-dairy

Mix and match.

You can fit antioxidants in by way of sauces, jellies, and cheap fruits.
Canned veggies work wonders.

Don't eat out.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

Yesterday I did something that scared the blackbird family away from my garden, I'm afraid. A cat came into the garden and was about to jump and catch the tailless youngster of the T. merula couple and I shoot out of my chair and chased the cat away just in time.

I stamped my feet, given the cat the idea he really was not welcome here, and I yelled something like, 'get the fuck out of here!'. Well, that worked but.. ja, it was also 'experienced' by (at least) the male bird and one of his youngsters.

Um, probably the kiddo is now scared shitless of me and will not return soon. Parent birds will follow their kiddos and 'just' try to raise them elsewhere. There where the kiddo decides to go, really.

Shame. I had quite a good bonding with the little creatures. Pavlovian, in a way.. with me whistling a simple tune and they knowing that there's a bit of finely chopped up food on the ground.

Hmmm, hope I can fix this cos they're not here now. Which ja, is unusual.

After 28 1/2 years of marriage, I'm about out of "cooking ideas".  We are now on a low salt diet and lower calorie diet (health issues) and I'm just tired of mixing and matching.  It's just a temporary thing since I enjoy making soups, but PA won't eat soups in hot weather.  Come fall I'll be in a more creative mood.

He doesn't like fruit soups and tomato soups give him indigestion.  There's only so many times you can cold potato soup.  And the PR doesn't like soups all that much, and wouldn't touch a cold soup.

Pumpkin isn't really a New Orleans vegetable.  We do pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and that's about it.  I do have some cans of pumpkin I need to use up.  Probably make a sweet bread with it.

Didn't read the review, but the local newspaper's headline for the review implied it was hilarious.

I heard that it's going to be funny this year, but I'm in just for the amazing cast they have this time.
