  I just realized that I dislike peas because they seem to have skins which give them
  an unpleasant texture between the teeth.  If they could be  peeled  I might like them.

Some do, I hear. Lots of people are said to do it after work, with the people they work with.

I am thinking about the person who contacted me via Facebook recently. He is someone I used to work with and had a crush on. Apparently he even contacted police trying to locate me but they were no help. He hasn't married but has had two kids. He wants to meet up with me sometime but I don't know if I should.

Is contacting police to find someone a thing that is part of Australian normal behaviour?

If not, I would stay clear of him, he looks too desperate for contact.

  Mushy peas are fine with me, much better than chewing the skins!
