Thinking about a whitepaper I wrote. The peer reviews are in and their decisions will be posted within the next day or two.

I peer reviewed a couple of the papers and the quality is really awesome. I don't stand a chance. :hide:

Yours may be better than you think.  Wait for the decision.  :viking:

I'm thinking how great a job my air conditioners do as long as I leave my bedroom
door open.  The bedroom AC is old and not very powerful anymore, but it works with
the newer one in the front room to create cross-ventilation and excellent cooling!  :2thumbsup:

Thinking we all need to hug the ones we love. My friend just lost her little girl today. She had a rare gastrointestinal disease that prevented her from being able to stomach food. Such a bright little light, but at 6 years old, gone too soon.  :(
I am sorry to hear about your friend's loss.

If there is a time when your friends seems like she might be open to this, I would suggest recommending her to look into Compassionate Friends.  They're a nation-wide support community/organization for parents who have lost children (and the families of the children lost, as well), and have support meetings across the country.  There are other similar communities, recommending this one because it's the one I am most familiar with.

Losing a child is one of the most profound losses a person can experience.  Unfortunately, it's also one of the most isolating.  Organizations like TCF can help with the isolation, especially.
I just checked the website but unfortunately they don't have chapters in my country. I'm sure there must be something similar. Will have a talk with her after the funeral and everything settles.

ok, it'll take all of ten minutes; I really need to just bloody sweep and mop already.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.

That's what I have to do tomorrow. Hate it. Don't know why since it's not an overly huge task.

Ten-minute blitzes are good.  Fast and furious, don't let it take over the day!  :headbang2:

I want to be trailer trash. They did not cause any of the problems that our country faces today. They did not get mortgages they couldn't afford. They did not run banks to the ground with greed. They did not use investors for their personal benefit. They don't even belong to the unions that ask too much of their companies.

I'm tired of paying mortgage bills,

Utility bills, property taxes.

I want to live more simply, pack up

The cat and move into my  travel-trailer.

I don't mind being called 'trailer trash',

Thanks. :)

It turned out to be an awful day. I really, really, really can't stand my boss.
