Bed in a few minutes.  The pain meds are kicking in.

Protip: unless they need to know the pressure of the spinal fluid, insist on doing the procedure sitting up and leaning forward, rather than lying on your side.
Had spinal tap in 1990. I was in so much pain, I didnt feel anything from the spinal tap. I do remember I was laying down

I had an epidural when I was about to have my daughter and it was the same for me.  I was in so much labor pain that the epidural was nothing compared to it even though I did get a headache from it later.

I don't pretend to know what labour pain is like, but just to clarify, my problem was not the local pain caused by the needle but instead all the referred pain when the needle hit nerves on its way.

This episode of community was the best thing I've seen on TV in ages.  I miss playing video games with my friends.

One more House episode and then the show is OVER.  :(

Probably a good thing, all things considered. There are only so many mysterious diseases and House-isms.

But there are so many NEW mysterious diseases yet to be identified!  :'(

True, but I think House has been rather formulaic lately, even though I'm going to miss it.

...lately?   :orly:

Don't get me wrong, I like the show.  Legitly like the characters' interactions.  Also find the initial medical rule-outs (which are ridiculously repetitive) and the way the represent treatment absolutely hilarious.  "He's depressed."  "Start him on antidepressants!!!"
