Kind of wondering why Eric Clapton has not yet been Knighted.

He has served his fellow man and his Queen quite well for decades.
I know he has been honoured with the Order Of The British Empire, but I think it would be awesome to think of him as Sir Eric when I am rockin' out to some Cream and such.

If the temp outside is 72 and we have had 3 windows open for about 5 days then why is it 79 in here?  (I know the answer, I'm just bitching.)

He should have been knighted for the Unplugged album alone. :headbang2:

RIGHT!!??

All of the rest of his amazing work with  "things to help"  is just him being a Good Sir.

I am glad to see I am not alone.

There is absolutely no top/blouse out there that would go with this dark red business suit I'm looking at. None. It's just too lairy
I was thinking something boatneck with black, beige and red stripes but no such top exists.

When in doubt, I try to get something either black, grey or white. Beige could work too though.

Thanks. I ordered some businessy garments in anticipation of job interviews (not that I've sent a resume to anywhere yet).
The red suit is probably not the best interview clothes but I just thought it was cool. And it was massively discounted.
I didn't end up getting it though, I bought a dark charcoal one instead.

Red suit to an interview? Hmmm, maybe not. Charcoal would be better because you could wear just about any coloured blouse underneath. :)

I have a raccoon trying to take up residence in my garage.  Second time tonight I been disturbed and gotten up to shew her away. Not really many things I can do about it, except call animal control who will set up a "safe trap" While I wait for a few weeks for it to become complacent enough to forget about the trap and get caught.
Can not just take stick to bastard or just shoot it. Fucking liberal yuppies have gone nuts about trying to "save" pest animals.

The whole reason they are invading city dwellings is that they have over-populated their environment and moved into the city back yards to take over those areas as well.
She has already torn up my screen door to "break in" to my garage. I will try one more time to set a trap, but the only thing that will happen when I trap her is that she will be released along the river (six blocks away) and just wander back into town again.

Just  seen quite a large number of fair-sized fermentor type reaction vessels, 1 liter and up, and I reckon if I bag the right ones, I could potentially, after keeping a few for myself, make a good  few hundred quid a piece flipping a few of the big ones on ebay. And of course could certainly make nice use of some large high tech fermentation vessels.

I'm getting pretty tempted just looking at them, underpriced and juicy for the taking  and reselling (some of em anyway) the others on. Some are under £100, and I bet I could get five times that for them, in some cases a fair bit more. Those big industrial pilot scale fermentation vessels aren't cheap, the type with the flanged flask and head with multiple inlets, and closed by metal clamps. Worth quite a bit. Used for spawning things living, usually.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.
