No, the idea is not to encourage sleep! :laugh: That will screw up my nighttime sleep. It's only 4:20pm here. I have to stay awake until 9pm. :yawn:

One of the "happiest days of my life"  was yesterday!!

I went to watch the ceremony where my son graduated high school. FUCK SAKE!! He did it.

There were recent times when I was worried. When logging on to his school pages as a parent and for instance finding that he had two grades in Finite Math; one hundred percent and zero percent.  Meaning that he gets it just fine, passes all the tests, etc. but has a lot of work he has not completed and turned in. 

We got with his counselor/handler and found a way to make up the lost work over the past weeks. Thing is, I can remember helping with some of it a while back and watching him struggle to complete his assignments. THEN to not even turn that work in to his instructor, after struggling so much to focus and finish the assignments seemed insane to me.

BUT, it is all over now, HE DID IT!! I have a legal document from the State Of Indiana to prove it! My autistic son has graduated from a standard public high school!

Amazing DD!! :hug: I ended up having to homeschool my ASD son starting at the age of 10. I think our boys are close in age. My guy is turning 19 at the end of the year.

Congratulations DD, and congratulations to your son!!

Mine will need to do a do-over for this year, it was a rough year for him both school and health wise. Credit wise it's better that way instead of him getting overwhelmed trying to get the required credits in for graduation next year. We'll get there eventually.
