I wish my family would decide what they want to do for Christmas this year.

I sure need a kolinsky sable watercolor brush for christmas, if you know somebody who wants to get me something.  :zoinks:

Ask one of your bitches to buy it for you.  :hahaha:

I'll be working this Christmas Eve day and Christmas day.  Luckily, both are half days.  :santa:

Matte black, noooiice.

You could get grabber blue on the previous model Mustang too, it's that enamel bright light blue.
You can also now get them in that pearlescent cream colour they use on the Mondeo's but I don't fancy that one.
A solid milky cream white would be cool, not that it would look good, it's just for the sake of a proper colour throwback to the Mustangs from the 60's.

Yeah, black cars are probably not the better choice in Australia. ;)

Matte is really hard to look after apparently, well, any type of black painted car is.

People still like black cars here. They probably do get hotter inside but with modern cars these days you can turn the A/C on before even hopping in :P. My car is pretty dark but I don't really notice the difference compared to my last car which was silver. I Always use one of those foil windscreen sunshades.
The main problem with black is that people don't know how to wash or take care of it properly. Sometimes it's covered in swirls before you even drive it away brand new from the dealer!

My parents bought a black Jeep (yes, they bought a Jeep ;) ) and before they even washed it, they noticed swirls on it. They took it back to the dealership and complained. The dealer offered to repaint where the swirls were, so that's what happened. I secretly think they ended up with another car without swirls.

They probably did a 'paint correction' where they just buff/cut the paint until the scratches disappear.
Stupid dealers deliberately present the car to you in a dim showroom, or make you wait till late afternoon so you can't see the swirls in the sun.

I'm taking my car to a pro detailer for it's birthday in march. A hand polish should be all it needs I reckon, plus the odd paint touch up here and there.
