I got accepted by a potential supervisor. Only thing is, I have to wait until next semester which means I will graduate at the end of the year instead of the middle like I had hoped. There is an advantage - I will have more time to prepare and think about assessment. And I get to have a rest from uni for six months.

No, this is just so I can graduate and get Bachelor of Psychology. I am not doing 4th Year Placement which is like work experience as I read the requirements for it and socially it is beyond me. Autism ftw hey. So I contacted the academic chair and she suggested that I do an Independent Study Contract. This means that I pick my own topic and write about it under supervision.

Concern about how she might react is probably more sensible than concern about how others at I2 might react. If you already have alternate means of contacting her outside of this site, would assume it's because she's trusted you to have that means. If not, then yes, maybe best left alone.
