It was awesome to see from a distance, too.

Most of our stops on our way home from Spain were like that, short and cursory. We took what was supposed to be a very quick detour through Monaco but got a bit lost in there. The armed guards at the palace took a long, hard look at us the second time we passed. :P

Still, a great trip.

It's just selling a car, it's not like rehoming a dog and making sure it goes to a loving home.

Still I can't get over the fact I've just condemned my old lancer to a life of misery and neglect (and even the wreckers sooner or later) :headhurts:

When I sold the first car I really loved, and drove for 10+ years I cried like a baby after it left the driveway...and it actually went to a good home.

I have relatives I could sell into a life of slavery and not shed a tear.

I was getting drinks with some coworkers and they were talking about going to a strip club afterwards. I was the only female in the group. One of them asked if I was offended and was amazed that I didn't care.

They don't know us here.  :P
