Day 05 – A song that reminds you of someone

Pretty much anything by him reminds of my mom

Day 16: A song that you used to love, but now hate

Basically anything from the True Blue album which I used to be obsessed with.

Day 17: A song you hear often on the radio. My favourite radio station is BOOM 97.3 (70's, 80's, 90's) and they play it a lot. You can listen live online  http://www.boom973.com/

Day 13 – A song that is a guilty pleasure

this whole band is a guilty pleasure. Its good music though. Very heavy actually for Metalcore. I try not to pay attention to the lyrics.

That's pretty good. I expected pussy music from a band named for a chick flick. OTOH Johnny Hates Jazz and Spandau Ballet are both names that should go with bands playing non pussy music.  ???

^ yes it is EXCELLENT.

Actually, it wasnt named after the movie. Both the movie and the band are named after a book that is about how materialistic people are evil, basically. They chose the name because they are modest sissy boys I guess. The band came out like right before the movie did, and it really kind of hurt their popularity a bit.

Day 7 ... I heard this song around the time I went
on retreat with my confirmation class, in June 1982,
so hearing it always makes me think of
June and lush green trees and peace.  :meditate:

(Just wish the poster had gotten the title right.)

Day 6, a song that reminds me of somewhere.
I first heard an all-instrumental version of this song at my
godmother's beach house when I was 6, so hearing it now
reminds me of her house, which I haven't seen since 1972.
