Yoshi's tail was becoming an issue for him, so the alternate to help him is to amputate it... the vet's office informed me about 9 minutes ago that he just went in for surgery.

I hope he's okay :(

He went through the surgery okay... he's just on pain meds that he hates... especially the kind we have to feed him with through a syringe. He's stubborn for a 5 year old tabby... but then again that's my Yoshi for you.

So in my wanderings and picking up "trash", I find a set of bicycle handle bars.  Just tossed to the side of the road up a little embankment.  I brought it home and put it in my metals pile to be brought to a nearby metals recycling place next week.  I never know what I will find!   8)

Fun fact; horses are unpredictable, hence why the coffin carriage is being pulled by sailors.

The most sensitive observation will be on the other thread... but this one will stick right here:

I'm hiding in my room, almost bored out of my mind... trying to decide one what to do for a side hustle to earn money to help go towards my rent.... I could do my paintings again, and earn money from that. Or I could simply continue looking for employment by myself, even though I'm doing an odd job on the side.

-__- decisions, decisions... also SSI if you could help me not feel like I'm a broke ninny, that would be absolutely great.

My new speakers have a long way to go before they break in much.
I had some personal distractions for the first month I had them and only just last week end plugged them in for the first time.
Man! They are stiff and harsh. Nothing like what most folks talked about.

I need to beat the crap out of them for a while longer.

I had it on in the background until the last minute. You didn’t miss anything.

They didn’t show “commercials” on the TV (we call them adverts, for some reason Channel 4 called them commercials) all day yesterday, and all the shops were shut until 5pm. People made a last minute rush to the shops on Sunday, even though they were only going to be closed for a day. It was hard to order anything online today too, because the shops were shut in England yesterday.

I guess everything is back to normal now.
