My front yard is crawling with construction men.

 

I had a road crew out front last month.

While walking this afternoon I swear I saw a small rainbow in a near clear sky. I know it's not scientifically possible but it was there.

Unless this is the same thing as Skippy's Godzilla size brother I saw in the middle of town the other day. In other words, I'm going troppo

Went and measured  a house of a small farm to give them a price on adding insulation.  The owner was very nice and very interesting ended up talking for over an hour about all kinds of stuff from hobby farming to blacksmithing.   I gave him a very good price and he agreed to it on the spot    Must recharge now that was a lot of talking for me going to go fix some stuff

I am now fourth from the bottom in the list of Most Time Spent Online.

More often than I wish, my (fairly substantial) subwoofer awakens my computer from hibernation, due to shaking the mouse too much.

OH!!  I have seen some audio guys use some of there hyperbolically shaped bowls for high frequency "horn/impedance matching"  kewl looking wooden things.

NOt sure how it all worked, though.

Ten kids for St Martens this year. This part of the street seems to stay pretty consistent. Completely different kids than I had last year though.

Lots of candy left. (Because one year, I had 60 children at my door, I've also had the massive number of three, one year)

Stuck with my wife's car while she uses the van to pick up art supplies for work and she defiantly needs a new car hers is loud, the radio only kinda works and the heat only works on high among other things We are trying to hold out till after winter but it's getting bad

After sports, group getting dressed again, someone talking about the new album from Adèle.

R: Those plump people, they always have such great voices and can sing so well.
Me (with grin): Well R, I managed the plump bit, but that great singing still isn't happening.

R: And those dark people, they always have such great voices, and can sing so well.

I made a paste of catnip and water to put on the scratching boards I have.
One of them lies flat.

Sirius got aggressive at Luna, and then claimed the flat scratching board as his, by sitting on it. His tail all over the still wet catnip paste.

I'm just wondering what will happen later today, when Luna finds out how well Sirius smells.

The new brand of cellulose insulation I am buying is super dusty,  at times in the attic today I couldn't see what I was doing and had to stop and let the dust clear.

Some film crew is setting up equipment  downtown  no idea what they are filming but it looks like it's more than some commercial for a local business
