2-3 weeks maybe; I need to get some gear first now that it's heading into winter.  I've ordered a goose-down sleeping bag from Nanok (Norwegian company) that's rated to -30C, and I'm going to experiment with solid fuel stoves on the next trip (there aren't enough trees in the highlands for collecting wood usually, and it's often too wet to burn anyway).  Going to get some salopettes too and a wool/polypropelene mix baselayer.

I got a larger and much better quality backpack a while ago, so I'll be able to take more gear next time.  Particularly, I intend to take my camcorder, so I might have some video clips to post at the end of it.

Rainfall doubles here outside of summer, but I'll be heading to the Cairngorms on the east coast, where it's a bit dryer.
