i get some rather "dark" nightmares. not a lot happen, but there is a VERY dark "vibe" that often scares me half to death by itself

/

deams mean nothing. they are most likely a reflection of your current mental state, a sortof processing effect. everyone associates themes differently, so there cant/wont be a single set of interpretations for things encountered in dreams

YEah. Normal dreaming is like the brain's way of defragging.

yes.
altho, had you used that example with, say, my mother, you'd be having to explain both what you mean by that AND what the hell defragging is
good luck! :D

And one time I had a dream in two parts.
The first part was al in bluish lighting and I was running up stairs trying to escape some men who was chasing me. I climbed up ladders and up a scyscraper.
The other part was like shot in umbra color and then I was down a beach near a boardwalk where these men caught up with me. They were 10-15 neonazis vaguely resembling the prisongang in American History X.
And...well, then I was raped as usual. And the fear was especially vivid in this one. I could feel it oozing from every pore. Woke up soaking of sweat.

Yup. Sleep study.

Your dreams remind me of a woody allen movie, girl.

And how does one go about having a dream study?

Ok, then I'll won't bother.

I've already had more of those than I can remember.

I have mostly annoying dreams such as I am late for an exam and I can't go in so I fail.
Or dreams about ordinary mundane things that confuse me when I am awake wondering whether something I did was in a dream or done in real life.

This night I dreamed of me attending some sort of gathering in a house out in the woods. I don't know if it was a wedding or something. maybe it began like one, but later on it became clear that it was a meeting and I was one of the hosts.
Things went a bit tricky when the rivaling group of werewolfs started moving our way in their armyjeeps.
I was in some kind of ambush by a backroad and we caught a few of them werewolfs (who was not transformed at the time) and turned two of them over to "our people" and killed the rest.

Then we discovered there were a LOT of werewolfmoney...wich I had to smuggle out hidden in bags and under my clothes and in a sandwich.
Started spending a bit at a time for no one to notice, but the werewolf community knew and they were on to me.

:plus:  for having a dream that combined money and sandwiches, two of the best things on earth!
