I had one explode from someone using it as an ironing board.  In general, I don't like dense, hard, heavy, potentially sharp and easily dirtied items in my house.

Cats on glass are adorable.

I broke our dining room table by burning a candle on a plate on it. Too hot for the table because it cracked right through the middle of it. As we lifted it off its base, it broke in half. Yeah, I don't like glass tables.
