If that's too hard for now, some Japanese restaurants here have plastic clips that go on the ends of their chopsticks to connect them so kids can use them.  Maybe you could get some and practice with them.

The cat would be sitting next to you when you eat. No way she would go off to someone more exiting, when you have moving sticks in your hand.

She's been really fucking naught the last couple days. She's discovered that she can jump up at the bird thing and hang on with her claws, then cliumb up

Which obviously scares Zhukov so I gotta shout at her and stop her, but she clings on with her nails

So I have to lock her out of my room

Which really sucks coz I miss having a big fat Flo to cuddle :(

You should get yourself an older rescue cat. RSPCA has plenty who need a warm bed and a cuddle. And they will have character profiles on the cats. You can pick the most cuddly and lazy one. He or she will be very grateful. The bed and attention of a Sophster is a lot better than the cage and care at the RSPCA.
