The latter, for sure. Which, on the 1 hand, is a good thing (in a do-it-yourself kinda way/teaching yourself) but ja, on the other hand, one tends to reinvent the wheel over and over again.

Shaving: the 'old fashioned way' with (foam) soap and blades.. or.. dry-styled, with an electrical apparatus?

Blades and soap, or oil, of course. Not old fashioned or brave/foolish enough to wield the real thing. My SIL can shave with the knife.  :viking:
