TV stations going off the air for the night playing the national anthem and then static or a test pattern. Also only getting only a couple channels clear and several that were all staticy. Now I get a couple hundred channels but frequently find there is nothing I want to watch on and overnights are filled with infomercials
I remember seeing Dr Gene Scott overnights in college and thinking it was some sort of skit on a comedy show the first time I saw it
