It certainly does look professionally made, the lemon resting on a baby piece of lettuce is a nice touch

And it looks just about right.  Where do you get the crawfish?

I bought a bag of frozen crawfish tails from our local butcher shop.  They had been in my freezer for awhile and I found them when we were defrosting the freezer this weekend.

I love crawfish.  However, Prince Albert is allergic to them.  I try not to eat something that someone can't have in front of them.  So, alas, my consumption of crawfish is limited.

That's sad.  Is he allergic to all shellfish or just to crawfish?

I made it a bit less spicy than average for Louisiana, so I think my husband enjoyed it too, but our daughter took a sniff, then tiny bite and said, "It smells like penguins.  EWW GROSS!"

Then she got herself a spoonful of peanut butter and a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal with milk.

She's allergic to corn, so we don't usually make corn at home anymore and we usually make popcorn only after she has gone to bed.

How does she know what penguins smell like?

We have been to several zoos together, most of which had penguins.

That makes sense, since it probably smelled fishy. Sushi smells like cat breath.

Only crawfish so far.  He can eat small amounts of strawberries, coconut, and milk, but his face and head will swell if he eats too much of them.  Any crawfish or ingested peanuts will make him react the same way but at small amounts of the food.

Less talking and more food.... :asthing:

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

I have a crustacean allergy myself, I don't mind having people eat sea bugs i front of me. If your husband keeps eating stuff he is allergic to anaphylaxis could kill him, even on small portions.

Sea bugs...

Good point about allergies too. My brother has had mildly unpleasant reactions to nuts for some time now (itching in the mouth and inner ears,
esophageal spasm), but recently he had a worse reaction and now avoids nuts entirely and carries an Epi-Pen.

I want Dox47 to come back.

Me too.

I'd like to talk guns and whisky with him.

Is anyone in contact with him that you know of??
