Shouldn't people bring their own bibles with them though, if they want a bible?
It is dirty and spreads germs.
Also that's the last thing I'd want to see if I was ill - wow a bible, they must think I'm on my way out
Someone who is rushed to the hospital after an accident or unexpected illness probably wouldn't have his Bible with him,
and might appreciate having one to read in his time of stress. If they're in every room, there's no need to take their presence
as a personal comment on your chances of survival.
Of course, the germ issue is another thing entirely. Unfortunately, there are many other potential sources of infection in hospitals.
