A relative of mine was famous for his ability to mimic birds and even put on shows and had records.  My father has this one of his

When I first joined WP (over 5 years ago) I posted a lot in the parenting section and hit it off really well with another Mum. She was the first person I Pm'd on there and we talked about our kids, and our husbands etc. Found out recently that it turns out she is Parts' wife. Small world.

Please share some of the better parts of Parts.

Before I pour some boiled water in a cup to make me some tea.. I first put some dried thyme* in the cup.. and then..

(ooh, the suspense.. )  :green:

.. I put the tea bag in it.

*thyme is very rich in iron and this way I get a little extra iron in my system.

^ That is so smart! I am always iron deficient so I will have to start doing that.

Um, maybe don't use too much of thyme for it's quite strong in taste ofc..

Also must add here that the body is quite a tad more efficient in taken up iron via foods as (red) meat and fish (haem-iron).
Oh, and extra vitamin C intake is also an advice to give with iron deficits.

What I do is I divide an orange in 4 (or 6) parts and eat the parts spread out through the day. Plus I put some lemon juice
in every glass of water I take. Um, although I do take them daily I'm not so sure vita. C supplements help that much.

Oh, duh.. your fruit juices are excellent too here of course.
