Yeah, there is a difference. Even if I'm standing on something secure,

Yeah, I can look over balconys, mountain lookouts, etc., no problem.  I can even walk on shaky walkways between buildings with relative ease.  Put me on a roller coaster, ferris wheel and the like and I freak out to the point where I want to jump out.  Even wataching zooming down shots at movies and on TV makes my stomach drop.

Same here, I can stand on I beams 70' up and it doesn't bother me.

Im pretty scared of heights  :-\ but I like to push though it. Maybe I just like to be scared

I climbed one of those rock walls, and I nearly pissed myself I was so scared but i wanted to do it anyway.

There's an apartment building in my city that is very tall and very narrow from front to back.
Every time I see it from the bus or cab window, I get a flutter in my throat. That's how nervous heights make me.   :orly:

Although I'm a good basic cook, I don't like cooking.  Maybe that's why I'm good.  I don't stress out about it and keep making things I know how to do well.
