I've got the beadmaking operation on hold for the time being, and when the school term starts up next week I'm hoping to get some pieces made from the huge stash of finished beads that's piled up in the corner.

The claying site I go on, quite a few people there have Etsy and eBay shops, but markets, carboot sales and such are more appealing to me. I looked into selling my beads unstrung through a local bead shop, but I'd be giving them away for under cost. Finished necklaces and other pieces sell better. I have to get some technical mastery happening, so that what I make not only looks good, but will stand up to wear and tear as well.

This is the bracelet I sent to renaeden:

In return she sent me some gorgeous Japanese-braided zipper pulls and a necklace. Me likey.

I can't see the pic :( please try again when you have the time!

Yes, you are right, selling seperately is not the go. The ones you've strung, like the fish necklace are really special, so you are good at it, you should make the whole pieces.

Two other things come to mind, do you live near a city or more outside of that?....because the two options I see are selling them to really funky alternative places, or upmarket boutiques. You've probably thought of both, but you really should do it!!!

Awesome for getting the Regurgitator reference.  :2thumbsup:

The kids and I used to sing along, at full volume, to "Polyester Girl" and "Black Bugs."

Mmm, good to see you skipped over "I Will Lick Your Asshole" on the same album!

I'm quite sure Lit would like that song.

Thanks everyone for your comments. :)

Now that you mention it, many of the clay artists I see online use Flickr to host their photos. Might be worth looking into, and thanks for the tip.

What is your cup size?

Are your areola large or small?

Are your areola pink or dark?

How do you shave your muff? (clean shaven, landing strip, triangle, heart, etc)
