In the reply window, next to the font icon, there's a drop down list for change color.

No. Not like that. You have to highlight it and then select the color.

I see you figured it out, but to make this rainbow of colors for Superboy Ian I typed in indigo as a named color between blue and purple instead of using navy, as I amended your quote.

Sometimes I use html color codes if I'm trying to match a color, too.

Here's a cool site for named colors along with their html codes that I found.
