Simple dish with pan fried lemon sole, simple salad and double fried potato chips. (self made remoulade-like sauce) (plus tomorrow, for the first time in my life, I'm going to make a dish with (the Eur. common) quail)(and oh, if I'm not a bit careful this cooking hobby of mine is going to give me a bit of belly) (um, also for the first time in my life)
Shabu Shabu, which is thinly sliced beef, tofu, enoki mushroms, bok choy, noodles, snow peas, and some other vegetables cooked in boiling broth and served with rice.
I made a batch of my version of fried rice.Rice, egg, peas, ham, honey soy prawns, onion, garlic, lots of shallots and coriander (cilantro). With lettuce and chopped tomato on the side.I thought I made heaps for leftovers, but apparently not. I only got a second dish out of it today. Shall have to make some more.
