Cottage cheese.  I find that eating some before I go to bed helps me to sleep better.  And it works better than milk.

I'm eating a home-made meatball (cold) on a thin layer of ketchup on a kaiserbrotchen (or k. roll) right now. This, as an evening snack. Nice.
