What happens if one of those Chinese guys marching with the bayonets trips 
My brother was stationed near DC when Carter came into office. What they did for the general parade was tell a large number of units they would march then just pick a few at the last minute. They all had the bolts removed from their guns and were instructed to no matter what if you drop you gun don't try and pick it up. He was not chosen to march in the end after all the practice they had to do
