They're called "isglassar" in Swedish. "Ice-cream" is "glass", so ice-creams of real ice become "ice-ice-cream".  :orly:

Ice ice baby!  :zoinks:

Glugs....and Zooper Doopers are coming to mind too.

In north Queensland, water ices are called 'Bijingoes'

Isn't that what Dr. Elliot Reid from Scrubs called vaginas?

Yeah I remember that.

I also remember something similar to these:

Instead of your ice falling off the stick these ices were contained in a foil packet. Where I am from, though, they used to be called Freezas and they had a slightly different shape. They were also available in cola flavour which was my favourite.

Sunny Boys were big when I was young at primary school. But they were a different shape, more of a triangular pyramid. Plus after you'd finish, you'd look inside the wrapper to see if you won a free Sunny Boy and you usually did.

I wonder why they were so generous with the free Sunny Boys. Did they have a massive freezer malfunction and have to unload their surplus before it all melted? :zoinks:

I think it was just a promotion thing, as far as I can remember, I was around 10yo at the time.

Are they still in business?

I don't remember it. I didn't like the orange sunny boys. I was a Glug girl. Sometimes Razz's too.

I remember they had one called a 'Hassle'....it was yellow, but not lemon flavoured...pineapple-ish, I think.
