I dream a lot without my meds.  The dreams are usually quite interesting, but rarely entirely pleasant, and they leave me feeling exhausted when I wake up.  Last night, my dreams involved trying to wake up before dinosaurs ate me, being held captive on a melting snow-pack which concealed a dangerous drop into a crevasse, escaping and paying a drug gang to smuggle me up a river into a South American rainforest by speedboat, struggling to maintain the ecosystem of a small wildlife preserve in the face of changing climatological conditions and trying to figure out who was killing fire salamanders that I had on exhibit in a museum.

I can fall asleep after my doses of dexamphetamine too. Lately it seem like they don't work. I need them to work for uni, don't want to daydream in my classes.

Mine usually regain their effectiveness for a while after I take a break from them for a few days.  I'm anticipating quite a large boost in effectiveness once I start back on my meds after the 9-day break that I'm taking for this sleep study.

Sheesh...and the most excitement I've had recently was my sex with McJ dream 2 nights ago!

Seriously though, my dreams are usually the most vivid and totally exhausting when I have a lot on my mind. And I agree, that feeling of waking up exhausted sucks completely....it's an awful feeling.

Who needs exercise with active dreams like these?  With all the locations it's a shame you can't get air miles for traveling in your sleep.
