Damn , i musta posted in this thread sometime back in my murky past.

So , everytime I check "new replies to your posts" this question sits there at the top  like an accusation:
Did you take your meds today?
And I find myself thinking, yeah, coming back to this forum yet again, scratching around for something interesting to reply to, no wonder they're asking me me that, got me sussed, alright, i really should be doing something more constuctive...

maybe it wouldn't be so bad if i actually  did take regular  meds. maybe, then,  my aspie brain would do the proper aspie thing and take it literally.

The basic problem is that  I have too many food/chemical intolerances, so I've pretty much given up on meds.
So now I feel left out 
Hmm. Maybe I should  start a "Why don't you take your meds?" thread.
But on the other hand , it would be  hard to find a reason for posting in that one every day.

Not the intention of the thread, I can assure you.
The thread "what are you drinking right now" often was my reminder that I had not been drinking anything for way too long. And the thread kept me hydrated. So, I made one for meds too.

And now and then I post here telling that I did not take my meds.
Will probably not take them today. Think it may be better for my brain not to.

Yep, just my thyroxine...considering looking into some kind of anti depressant or mood stabliser... I have not been on any such medication though in many years, and am a bit wary of going down that route. Anyone found an effective anti depressant that is not rife with side effects? I don't think taking codeine as a substitute can't be very healthy.

^ I take moclobemide, which is a reversible MAOI (meaning you don't get irreversible changes in your gut so you can't eat cheeses and other stuff), it is an antidepressant. I have tried pretty much all the SSRIs and am not allowed tricyclics (because one can overdose on those easily) so a MAOI it is. I have had no side effects on it at all. I have been on it for about 2 years and have had no trouble.
