It's a shame that 90% of people (mostly American twats) claim to be Irish yet they're not.

Even though I'm born here, I'm not fully Irish myself. I have the accent at least.  :zoinks:

When I talk about being part-Irish, I'm talking about my ancestry, what's wrong with that?

Why don't you join the PROVOs, Shleed? You might crush the English by just sitting on them.  8)

Would she be eligible for Irish citizenship, if she wanted it? A girl from my city, born here to Irish immigrants, moved to Ireland several years ago and I heard she was planning to become a citizen.

*nods* Sounds familiar, at the time this girl was moving from here to Ireland, someone told me she would be eligible for citizenship because of her very recent Irish ancestry.

OT, I have long wished to move to England, have always felt drawn to it, but when I called the British embassy in New York back in 1990 to inquire, I was told I could only visit, not stay and work for any great length of time. I definitely want to visit Ripon one day; it's the former home of a great-great-grandmother.

The English don't need to apply for citizenship, they can move over and get work like any other citizen. They still need to register to get benefits here.

You look like a complete gong.

Gong = Chinese gong = fucking mong.

Seriously, you do look like a rapist.

Plenty of Americans talk about their "irish ancestry" yet they don't have a bloody clue. One such American said that Scotland resides in Ireland!

I know Scotland isn't part of Ireland, and I know my mother's family is largely Irish...from County Clare and County Waterford.  :P
